科比開季首場表現 讓人愛恨交加

湖人隊昨天未能守成，最終以一分敗給灰狼隊，讓球星科比再成話題，他顯然不滿總教練在最後時間的臨場處理，而主動喊出暫停，成為媒體討論焦點。
湖人隊當時在落後一分狀態下進行最後一擊，總教練史考特沒有喊出暫停，應該是希望由蘭道直接終結森林狼，但顯然科比希望由自己來執行最後一擊，於是他喊出了暫停。
暫停之後，史考特將最後一擊的佈置當然是給科比，但最終戰術執行失敗，球到了路威廉斯手裡。賽後科比說，「我這裡沒出現機會，這可以接受，但如果你不為我佈置，這我斷然無法接受。」媒體分析說，顯然，科比不希望自己被忽視，尤其是不希望被己方教練忽視。
媒體也指出，昨天這場比賽，科比分別用上下半場展示了人們愛他與恨他的理由。上半場，科比持續展示自己的籃球智商，用一次次明智的投籃選擇展示人們愛上他的原因，下半場，他在嚴防下瘋狂出手，並不斷跳出湖人進攻體系玩單打，開啟「雖千萬人吾往矣」模式。甚至在最後時刻，科比僭越主帥喊出暫停，顯示出他與史考特在臨場指導上的想法分歧。媒體形容，這好像蝙蝠俠一樣，科比身上光明與黑暗的同一性令人著迷。
